Denali Arts Council is hosting Talkeetna's second annual Ice Carving Competition. 

Blocks of Ice will be available in the Village Park on Wednesday, February 1st. The blocks weigh 350lbs, is approximately 2 feet wide, 4 feet high and 9 inches deep. On Wednesday, February 1st from 12pm to 10pm, volunteers will be providing hot beverages, warm-up fires and tents. To the blocks need to be finished by Saturday, February 4th at 12pm. 100% of the entry fees will be give as prize money for the winners.

All ability and ages are invited to compete! Tools will not be provided.
